Diluted Thinking

Adrian Jones - Naturopath

If you are not familiar with Black Salve, my previous post Black Salve in Australia provides some background information. I strongly recommend that you read the Safety Alert from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Black and red salves in treating cancer and the TGA consumer warning about Black Salve Black salve, red salve and cansema.

Background

Adrian Jones is based in Victoria, Australia, after moving from Queensland in 2014. Jones advertises himself as a naturopath but doesn't state where he studied or what level of qualification he obtained. He claims to have taught at the Local Academy of Natural Therapies and he is currently registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society though I note his contact details are out of date.

Jones is featured in Elaine Hollingsworth's One Answer to Cancer movie and is the author of three ebooks about black salve and cancer, titled How Black Salve is Being Used to Treat Skin Cancer in the 21st Century, How Black Salve is being APPLIED to Treat Skin Cancer in the 21st Century, and How Black Salve is Being Used to Treat Breast Cancer in the 21st Century.

Complaint to the TGA

In March 2012 the Complaints Resolution Panel (CRP) of the Therapeutic Goods Administration upheld a complaint about Adrian Jones and his promotion of black salve (reference code 2011/12/005). The CRP ordered Jones to publish a retraction and withdraw advertisements and representations he made about black salve. Jones complied with the order to publish a retraction on his website, which was to remain for 365 days:

RETRACTION

An advertisement for Black Salve, which we published on this website, should not have been published.

In the advertisement we promoted the use of black salve and offerred assistance in using it. We claimed that Black Salve could have therapeutic benefits, including benefits in the treatment or cure of a wide range of cancers.

A complaint about the advertisement was recently upheld by the Complaints Resolution Panel. We provided no persuasive evidence to support the claims we made, and the Panel found that the claims were unlawful, misleading, and unverified and breached the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code. The Panel also found that the advertisement was likely to lead to consumers self-diagnosing or inappropriately treating potentially serious diseases.

The Panel therefore requested that Adrian Jones publish this retraction.

The attention of consumers is also drawn to the TGA warning at www.tga.gov.au/safety/alerts-medicine-black-salve-120203.htm

The full text of the Panel's determination can be found at: www.tgacrp.com.au/complaints

Note: the full text of this determination is no longer available on the CRP website.

Master Miracle Solution

In addition to black salve, Jones has no reservation in promoting another dangerous remedy, Jim Humble's "Master Mineral Solution", as can be seen in this email newsletter sent by Adrian Jones on 26 July 2014:
Gail and I wish to express our thanks to all of you who have wanted to know if the move to the Dandenongs, Victoria, went ok. It did, and we are now comfortable, and enjoying our new space, our second winter in Victoria, and we thank you for your well-wishes. We have established organic gardens and fruit trees. The wild life is a variety of birds, as well as interesting garden critters such as frogs, scorpions, funnel-web spiders, and land yabbies. We feel right at home here!

Earlier this year I was invited to lecture in Hannover, Germany on "How Black Salve is Being Used to Treat Skin Cancers in the 21st Century" to 1200 attendees from all over Europe, and from further afield, I even met the Queen of Uganda! Looks like I'm going back next year for another one, this time in Kassel.

I also met Jim Humble (and his lovely lady Cari), the man behind the MMS phenomenon. He is a health missionary, working in places like Africa and South America, where (according to the data presented at the Conference) they use MMS ("master mineral solution") to cure malaria (in a single day), AIDS in 3 weeks, and all sorts of other viral, fungal, bacterial and parasitic diseases. Traditionally, it is used to clean water supply, but now folk ingest it. You can check it out on the internet and You-tube. Jim has written an e-book on the subject

I have a friend in Fiji who has had necrotizing fasciitis for years, requiring constant rounds of antibiotics, which of course has profound immediate and long-term deleterious effects on human biology.

Well, here is an unsolicited letter I received recently from him:-

"It is now four weeks since ingesting the prescribed MMS daily dose and my condition looks to have cleared up - amazing. I'd been on antibiotics for five years for a wound that has never healed properly. Normally, after two to three weeks at the end of an antibiotic cycle, the wound reopens and so I have gone back on to them. This time, at the end of the last cycle, I simply switched to the MMS. It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust to it - I was a bit bilious and intermittent bleeding occurred, but for a fortnight now - all clear. I simply mix up a bottle for the day and instead of drinking tap water or hot drinks, I take the MMS. Thank you Lord, thank you Adrian. I am in your debt, R.".
As you might suspect, given its purported effectiveness, MMS is an "unapproved medicine", and so I am not "allowed" to promote it. But it is available here in Australia.

Within the past 2 years, we have been blessed with a further 4 grand kids, so now 5 in all, and you can imagine we are busy with them as well. Grand kids are just great!!

Meanwhile, my research and study continue, as I endeavour to provide the best information and care for those who seek my services. The old adage is more true today than ever, "prevention is better than cure". But the problem of the 21st century is, that our environments are becoming more and more polluted all the time, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the foods sold to us in the shops, let alone the increasing "dirty electricity" we all encounter with the EMR exposure of wi-fi, mobile phones, "smart meters" etc. etc. A hundred years ago, 1 in 70 got a life-threatening cancer, now it is about 1 in 3 of us.

Be as chemical-free and organic as you can be (all household personal care products, such as shampoos, deodorant, toothpaste etc, and all our foods should be organic folk). And be spiritually minded; one needs the big picture to maintain one's humanity in this diseased and dehumanised world today, me thinks.

With love

Adrian and Gail.

International Speaking Engagements
